ICOM Philippines is now accepting applications for a grant that will support one (1) emerging museum professional to attend the ICOM General Conference in Dubai in November 2025.

This grant aims to provide an opportunity for a qualified individual to participate in international museum discussions, engage with peers from around the world, and contribute to representing the Philippine museum sector in a global forum.

Role and Responsibilities

The grantee will serve as a Content Contributor for ICOM Philippines and will be expected to produce and submit the following outputs:

  1. Ten (10) Written Articles. These may include reflections on conference themes, summaries of key sessions, insights on Filipino participation, and perspectives on the future of museums from a Philippine context.

  2. Five (5) Short-Form Videos. These may include daily updates, interviews, or a short documentary (3–5 minutes) post-conference capturing the grantee’s overall experience and insights.

  3. Interviews with Delegates. Conduct interviews with Filipino delegates, international museum professionals, or creatives. Suggested themes may include decolonization, heritage preservation within the diaspora, and cross-cultural engagement.
